How Our Recurring Cleaning Works

We keep the process straightforward. We'll get to know your home, create your Custom Home Plan, and set up recurring cleaning that fits your household.

From first conversation to recurring cleanings

1. Tell us about your home

Fill out our contact form with your address and a few details about what you're looking for. We'll reach out to talk about your home and the cleaning schedule you have in mind.

2. Walk through your home with us

We'll schedule a home walkthrough to see the rooms and spaces we'll be cleaning, discuss your needs, and talk through anything we should know about pets, access, or particular areas.

3. Review your Custom Home Plan and quote

We'll put together a Custom Home Plan that identifies the rooms included in service, routine cleaning tasks, and the rotation for deeper detail work. You'll receive a set price per visit before cleaning begins.

4. Choose your recurring schedule

We offer weekly, biweekly, and monthly home cleaning during weekday daytime hours. Once you're comfortable with your Custom Home Plan and quote, we'll get your recurring visits on the calendar.

5. Let us take care of the cleaning

Our team follows your Custom Home Plan each visit, so you don't need to put together a new cleaning list every time. You'll know what to expect while we keep up with the work.

What happens at each visit?

Routine cleaning —visit every

Every room included in your Custom Home Plan receives its routine cleaning each visit. Depending on the room, that includes work such as dusting, cleaning counters and sinks, bathroom cleaning, vacuuming, and mopping.

Deeper cleaning — on rotation

We also spend time on deeper details in a scheduled room or area at each visit. That may include baseboards, cabinet fronts, or kitchen details like the inside of an oven or refrigerator when they come up in your Custom Home Plan. The rotation is built around the size of your home and how often we clean.

Not every deep-cleaning task happens at every visit. The goal is consistent routine care throughout your home, with extra detail work built into the recurring schedule.

Clear pricing. Simple payment.

Your recurring cleaning is quoted at a set price per visit, not billed by the hour. We keep a payment method on file and automatically charge it after each completed cleaning.

Getting your home ready

You don't need to clean before we arrive. We simply ask that the areas to be cleaned are accessible, personal items are picked up where practical, and we can enter your home at the scheduled time. You do not need to be home as long as we've arranged reliable access.

Common questions

Do you clean the whole home at every visit?

We provide routine cleaning throughout all rooms included in your Custom Home Plan at every visit. The deeper detail work rotates, rather than limiting your entire cleaning to one room.

Do you offer one-time or move-out cleaning?

Yes, when our schedule allows. However, Common Ground Cleaning specializes in recurring residential cleaning.

Will the same cleaner come every time?

We're intentionally building a small team. You may see different team members from time to time, but everyone is trained to follow your Custom Home Plan and our cleaning standards.

What if I have pets?

Pets are always welcome! We'll discuss any special instructions during your home walkthrough. If a pet prevents us from safely accessing a room, we'll simply skip that area for the visit. We recommend alternating where pets are kept during cleanings so every room gets the attention it needs over time.

What if something was missed?

Please let us know within 24 hours of your cleaning so we can address it under our satisfaction policy.
